Minecraft Stuff!
My adventures in Minecraft!
This is a page of information about various stuff I did that relates to Minecraft.
Minecraft has had a huge impact on me. It's how I got the idea to add splash text to this site.
Ongoing Projects
Java Survival World V
The 5th Project Explorer.
You can tell I really like the Touhou Project. Anyway...
I tend to move on to a new survival world whenever I get bored. However, this is by far my longest-running survival Minecraft world. So far, it's lasted for over 3 years.
Despite this, I've literally never managed to legitimately kill the Ender Dragon. Hopefully I'll get to that one day.
I primarily play on Peaceful, though I occasionally turn the difficulty up to Easy. Because of that, I can afford to place my base almost 10,000 blocks away from spawn.
This has survived four major releases of Minecraft: Caves and Cliffs II, the Wild Update, Trails and Tales, and Tricky Trials. Now, I only upgraded to that last one by the time 1.21.3 was already out, and even then, 1.21.4 was just around the corner.
Simple Prison Puzzle
This is a new take on an old map I made but never finished.
And yes, it draws some inspiration from an old map that PopularMMOs showcased a loooong time ago.
Finished Projects
Obstacle Course
This is an 8-stage obstacle course I made back in 2022 and 2023. I had aimed to released it by the end of 2023, and I succeeded!
Even though there are only 8 stages, all of them are quite long and difficult, even on Easy Mode. There's also an Extra Stage with zero checkpoints.
But if you're someone who can LNN any Touhou game (even LLS) on command and thus think even this Easy Mode is for elementary school kids, the Hard Mode will be for you, but it is extremely unforgiving.

Version 1.0 for Java Edition 1.20.2

12/31/23 - Easy Mode v1.0c released - Added hatch in Stage 4 for when portal misbehaves
12/31/23 - Easy Mode v1.0b released - Fixed block in Stage 2 on Easy
12/30/23 - Easy Mode v1.0 released
Cake's Custom Splashes
This is a collection of splashes from this website which were adapted to fit in Minecraft. There are also some splashes that aren't on this website.
For example, "BROWSE START!" was changed into "STEVE START!" and "ALEX START!"
Tested with Splasher! mod on Java Edition 1.20.6.
Note that this pack replaces the built-in set of splashes when applied, so you won't be able to see splashes from the built-in set. If you want to see those and the splashes from this pack at the same time, you'll have to manually copy the splashes into the same set.

Abandoned Projects
Java Survival World IV
The 4th Project Explorer.
Like I said, I tend to move on to something else whenever I feel bored. (side note: that's why I have at least five different Roblox accounts. All were created at different times, but I've been able to stick to my current one for over five years now.)
Survival Worlds I-III are also abandoned, but I lost those when I got a new computer back in August 2021. IV and V are the only Java Survival Worlds I still have.
Anyway, like J5, my main base in J4 is also thousands of blocks away from spawn, but it's in a village and is slightly closer to spawn.
I played this in both of Minecraft's Caves and Cliffs updates, so I got to experience chunk blending through this world. You don't really notice it when you're playing casually, but with a world map mod, you can definitely tell the difference between 1.17 terrain and 1.18 terrain.
I abandoned this back in December 2021.
Obstacle Course (old)
This was an earlier version of the obstacle course I had actually finished. Like the finished version, this was also quite difficult and had long stages.
Unfortunately, one day in 2022, I could suddenly no longer access this map for some reason. Since I couldn't get it back, I created another obstacle course.
I had gotten partway through Stage 2 before that happened.
Prison Puzzle
Remember the new take on an old map I never finished? This is that old map I mentioned.
I had worked on this from 2021 to 2022 before I decided to abandon it. It had an entire story involving major releases of Minecraft passing. You start off in an area that looks like something out of pre-Beta 1.8 Minecraft (and even has an Indev House to boot), but as you progress through the prison, more modern blocks appear, like stone bricks and quartz.
It also had a boss battle at the end. The hallway, throne room, and battle arena were all composed of quartz blocks.
And yes, I made this to expand on an idea which a map showcased by PopularMMOs used.
