This is my only town on Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Along with New Leaf, this is my first town on this game.
It is now 4 years old.
Here's some facts about it:

New Horizons had a huge following back in 2020, to the point that a certain politician used it in his presidential campaign. But many people got bored of it quickly, and Nintendo gave up on it quickly.
It had sweeping changes made to many aspects of the game, including many more places to escape to. But, probably because people don't like being insulted, villagers have much more boring dialogue in New Horizons. I've always justified it by saying that they don't want to get moved out.
But I still really like New Horizons. It's been by far one of my most played games on my Switch, and, for me, it had recently overtaken Super Mario Maker 2 in total play time. Before I left for summer camp in July 2024, I had played every single day in 2024 up to that point.
